NHK Media Technology (MT) takes on the full range of Three-Dimensional High Definition Television; 3D HDTV. MT has been engaged in the development of 3D HDTV since 1990. MT, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, was established in 1984 as NHK Technical Service, Inc. (NTS) to support
the program production technology of NHK; Japan Broadcasting Corporation. In 2008, NTS merged with NHK Computer
Services, Inc. and has become MT.
